Wireless Alarms
Wireless alarms continue the boom arm trend of wireless just about everything. We can’t seem to leave our homes without our wireless headsets or our laptop computers and watch as the blue light of wireless signal pops up without fail. We close our garage doors with our wireless car door opener; unlock our doors with the wireless car door operators and that’s all fine and dandy, but lo! Look at what approaches us from the wireless horizon; it’s the wireless alarm system. In truth wireless alarms are nothing all that new; let’s look at a few types of these wireless wonders. Wireless alarms approach all fronts. One of the most popular types of wireless alarms is the car alarm. I think we can all count a sleepless night or two where a neighborhood wireless car alarm went off with reckless abandon all night or the “tweak, tweak” of raucous partiers getting home late one night too often or the danger of a squirrel, deer, or even something so minute as an acorn setting the whole neighborhood ablaze with camaraderie and stealth, torches blazing, only to be thrown into the senseless conundrum of the facts as they stand on the ground; wireless car alarms are too sensitive. But at least, when the owners keychain is nearby, there is nothing to fear and the situation is fast remedied. However, home alarm systems are a little different. A wireless home alarm system often will sometimes display a short burst of audio to frighten burglars from the scene. But in home alarm systems you have the added dynamic of police response! They have to search the whole joint when they’re called out for an alarm. So hide your embarrassing forget-me-nots as getting a once over from the force is nothing to slap happy about. Commercial wireless alarm systems are no different; especially fire alarms. I’ve stood behind a front desk of a hotel with no fire guard present and three trucks with about a dozen firefighters all glaring at me because I didn’t know how to turn off this blaring noise; and they wouldn’t do anything about it. I queried “can’t you do anything?” to which they shrugged, “Nah!” So commercial wireless alarm systems should never be left to the care of a novice without the express written instructions on shutting the system down in the event of an emergency. Whether we’re talking about wireless security systems for the home or cheap wireless alarm systems that don’t shut off at your place of employ, there’s always something to be said about these 21st century tools. Alarmagent and Cellularam wireless security systems are two dealers, so whether it’s through them or another, get your fix!
