Wireless Network
Wireless networks are the stuff of the future lain right here in the present. While they may seem fairly contemporary, wireless networks have been around since the second World War. In plain use today from our wireless cellular phone networks to our wireless internet signals we pick up everywhere, we are connected in hard and fast manners which extends well beyond anything even the most fantastic predictions could have made when these were first introduced. Wireless networks are the foundation of business, commerce, personal systems. Wireless networks can span countries or be as simple as a pair of home PC’s. So your wireless network set up at your place of employ is probably a lot more intricate than your wireless home network. But all wireless networks are essentially the same; at their core they are really just computers hooked up to one another. If you’ve got questions about setting up a wireless network your best bet is to look for instructions with where you’ve bought your router. Many retailers have departments to assist you in these endeavors and some even offer their services for free or a nominal fee. You need to buy a router to set up your wireless network in your home. One of the ironies in this fact is that to connect computers in different rooms to the same router and the same wireless network, you may actually need wires. But once you’re set up once (don’t go moving furniture!) you’re set! That and if one or more of the computers is a laptop, you may be okay. I can get a wireless signal on my laptop in my house, but when visiting my dad recently I couldn’t even plug into his router and I don’t know why. The only thing I could think was he’s got a “cable” high speed hook up so we may not have hooked something up correctly. I never recommend hacking but if you are interested in hacking, one of the most difficult but probably rewarding places to “hack” would be a wireless network of a big company. You’d have the information that could be worth millions of dollars. However, hacking into a system is difficult because of all the fail safes already in place and because at any big company there are people; maybe just one, maybe a 24 hour dedicated team, who are on the lookout for people like you, so be careful. The evolution of wireless networks has gone on leaps and bounds in recent years. Hop on board!
